‘Tis the season to be jolly and goodwill to all mankind??

December is always a crazeeee!! time at the reycling centre – we get a lot of people clearing out their rubbish which they bring to the reycling centre – why I cannot understand as there are very large signs stating “THIS IS NOT A RUBBISH DUMP”.

I do try not to go mad but I sometimes wonder if some people can read.

Well this year we were dumped with a dead Christmas tree – the owner had spent obviously a lovely Christmas celebration with a feeling of GOODWILL TO ALL.

Then the feeling of goodwill left him/her and heshe dumped the tree at our reycling site.

If he/she recognises the tree please come and fetch it – and place it into the correct blue bag and let it be removed to the landfill site.

A reminder that we are not a dump site.

Dear Marge, Seasons Greetings! Thank you for all the hard work that you association does! Much appreciated.

We have recently relocated home and I have various things that are not suitable to be recycled (I think). Mainly old wooden picture frames (glass removed) . What do I do with these! Do not know where the landfill is but am willing to go there.

    Many thanks Karen (Morkel)

      Good day Karen
Thanks for your comments and kind words.
Wooden frames could be taken to the SPCA second hand shop in Inanda Road – or to the Hospice shop in St Margarets Road – near Richdens – I can give you better directions if necessary.
TheMariannhill landfill site is in Rudloff road – which is off Richmond road in Pinetown – just on the LHS a bit beyond the licensing bureau –
Thanks for being a responsible recycler –
      Regards
      Marge
