Rail reserve walk proving popular – with Sunday Tribune LeadHero Wilbur Mahlamvu as the leader!!

The rail reserve walk is proving to be popular – especially since we have the services of Wilbur – who is so knowledgable about flora. He brings his passion about the environment to the walks.

The dogs especially enjoy it as they can run freely quite safely.

Thanks to all the walkers who support this project.

NOTE: ON SATUDAY 15 MARCH AT 2 P.M. THE HILLCREST SCOUTS HAVE ARRANGED, IN CONJUNCTION WITH KHBA, A LITTER PICK. PLEASE JOIN THEM AND US IN MAKING OUR BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE LITTER FREE. BAGS & GLOVES WILL BE PROVIDED.

To find out more details about the “litter pick”  contact

Steve Camp [Scouts] on 079 391 1866 or

Maggie Fleming [KHBA] on 082 654 7306.

We do acknowledge the inroads the Hillcrest Park Neighbourhood Park members have made in keeping, especially the rail line, litter free and we thank them for their efforts.
